Show your commitment with Well Aware Certified
Show that your organisation actively works on employee wellbeing, with a recognisable certification that builds trust with talent, clients and investors.

Well Aware Workplace & Workplace Wellbeing Leader
We believe organisations only truly grow when their people feel good. From that mission, we award two certificates. Not marketing stamps, but recognition that comes directly from employee feedback.
Well Aware Workplace
Awarded to organisations that score above our scientifically validated workplace wellbeing benchmark, based on the Job Demands-Resources model.
Proof that employees feel heard, supported and engaged.
Workplace Wellbeing Leader
For organisations that go one step further and see wellbeing not as an HR topic, but as the foundation of their business.
Structurally investing in mental health, engagement and growth, and seeing that reflected in the numbers.
Demonstrably a healthy employer
Well Aware Certified makes it visible that your organisation structurally works on wellbeing, engagement and a safe working culture. Backed by real data from the Well Aware platform, not a snapshot.
The certificate is based on your own Well Aware measurements. Objective and demonstrable, not on self-reporting or a questionnaire you fill in yourself.
Show future employees that wellbeing and safety are measurable priorities for you. In a labour market where reputation is everything, that makes the difference.
You retain the certificate as long as you demonstrably continue to meet the standard. Always current, always credible.
How it works
Sign up
It starts with your registration for the Well Aware Workplace certification. You will immediately receive an instruction email to launch the survey among your employees. Through our secure environment you share the employee data. Together with a Well Aware project manager you discuss the approach and start date, tailored to your organisation.
The scan is running
The scan is scientifically grounded in the Job Demands-Resources model of Prof. Dr. Wilmar Schaufeli and consists of a fixed set of core questions on wellbeing, engagement and employment. Employees are invited via the channel that suits your organisation: WhatsApp, Teams, Slack or email. It can be completed on any device in a few minutes. You track the response in real time.
Your insights and label
After completion you receive:
- Your score relative to the Well Aware workplace wellbeing benchmark
- Score above the benchmark? Your organisation may carry the Well Aware Workplace certificate
- Score consistently at the top? You qualify for the Workplace Wellbeing Leader label
- The top 3 improvement priorities according to your employees
- Insight into engagement and involvement
- The eNPS: how likely employees are to recommend you as an employer
Good to know
You receive Well Aware Workplace when your organisation scores above our scientific benchmark for workplace wellbeing. Workplace Wellbeing Leader is the highest tier, for organisations that consistently score at the top and actively invest in wellbeing as a strategic foundation. Both certificates are valid for one year.
For a representative outcome, we require a minimum response rate of 60%.
Our benchmark is based on tens of thousands of respondents and 150+ clients in comparable sectors and organisation sizes. You compare yourself to the best of the best.
You do not receive the label yet, but you do get a detailed improvement report. We help you with concrete actions and a trajectory to reach the standard within 12 months. Many clients achieve the label in the second measurement.
At minimum annually, but with a higher frequency you score significantly more points, which contributes to achieving or maintaining the certification.
Yes, that is exactly what it is for. You receive the digital logo in all required formats, plus a communication kit with example texts. Candidates recognise the label and often actively check whether an employer has it.
The certification is not for sale. It is part of your collaboration with us. The certification is never purely based on numbers and takes a much broader view. The certification should not be the goal, but it is of course a great thing to have.
No. Great Place to Work is a global brand name with its own methodology, primarily focused on culture and trust. Well Aware Certified is scientifically grounded via the JD-R model and takes a broader view of your organisation.

Achieve the World-class Workplace label
The World-class Workplace label is an international recognition for organisations where employees truly make a difference. With Well Aware, you can gather the scientific evidence and employee feedback needed to achieve this accreditation, without having to go through a separate process or do double the work.
What the certificate gets you
World-class workplaces see, on average, a 21% increase in productivity, 50% more job applicants, 10% more innovation and a 13% increase in engagement.
Stand out from the crowd
Good employment practices deserve recognition. Let your staff have their say and become a certified World-class Workplace. Organisations that take their people seriously deserve to be recognised.
Being attractive to talent
This independent certification is based entirely on employees’ opinions, not on self-assessment or a marketing questionnaire. It provides powerful labour market communication aimed at both job applicants and the talent you wish to retain.
