Why a preventive medical examination?
The Working Conditions Act (article 18) requires you as an employer to offer employees a PMO periodically. With Well Aware you arrange this in one go, without separate suppliers or paper forms.
Our occupational physicians and GZ-psychologists analyse the outcomes and translate them into concrete advice. Per employee, per team and per organisation. Not a report to file away, but insights you can actually act on.
Every employee receives personal outcomes and concrete next steps. Those who need help can click straight through to a psychologist, coach or occupational physician. Insight and action, in one environment.

Frequently asked questions about our platform
A PMO is a periodic health examination that employers are required to offer. It identifies physical and mental health risks related to work, so that complaints are detected early and you can intervene before they lead to absence or incapacity.
For employers, yes. Article 18 of the Working Conditions Act requires you to offer employees a PMO periodically. For employees themselves, participation is voluntary. Failing to offer a PMO can result in a warning or fine from the Dutch Labour Authority.
The law does not specify a fixed frequency. Your RI&E determines what is appropriate for your organisation, based on the risks per role. In practice, it is usually a PMO every two to four years. For high-risk roles or heavy workloads, more frequent is advisable.
A PMO is a medical examination that measures physical and mental health, carried out under the responsibility of an occupational physician. An MTO is a satisfaction survey that measures work experience and engagement, without a medical component. A PMO is legally required, an MTO is not. With Well Aware, you combine both in one platform.
Personal outcomes go only to the employee themselves, protected by medical confidentiality. As an employer, you receive an anonymised group report with trends and risk indicators at organisational or team level. Never at individual level, not even through filters.
We measure both physical and mental health: workload, stress, recovery, sleep, exercise, nutrition, ergonomics, lifestyle and specific role-related risks. The questionnaire is scientifically validated by Prof. Dr. Wilmar Schaufeli and is administered under the responsibility of a certified occupational physician.
Depending on the scope of the PMO, it usually takes 5 to 10 minutes for the employee to complete, at the moment and via the channel that suits them: WhatsApp, Teams, Slack or email. If certain risks are identified, the employee can immediately schedule a follow-up conversation with an occupational physician or clinical psychologist.
Every employee receives personal outcomes and concrete advice. Those who want to go further can book an appointment directly through the platform with an occupational physician, psychologist or coach, anonymously if preferred, and available within 24 hours. We also analyse the data at organisational level, after which you can expect a presentation, impact review and report from us.
The price depends on your organisation's size and which components you use. We don't work with separate contracts per survey. You pay one amount for the entire platform, including support, integrations and updates. Schedule a conversation for a custom quote.
