Only the data your organisation collects within Well Aware: surveys, pulse measurements, open answers, platform usage data and additional HR data linked via integrations. Well-AI does not use external datasets to analyse your people, and your data is never used to train models.
Yes. All data is stored encrypted on European servers, GDPR-compliant and ISO 27001-certified. Well-AI operates within a closed environment where no external AI provider has access to identifiable employee data. No query ever leaves our EU infrastructure. Additionally, only raw data is shared, never any sensitive data such as company name, email address or personal details.
A combination of open-source large language models (such as Llama and Mistral) that we have fine-tuned on the JD-R model and anonymised HR data. For specific tasks such as classification or prediction we use smaller, specialised models. We are not dependent on a single external provider like OpenAI or Anthropic, and we do not forward client data to third parties.
Every user gets access to Well-AI at the level that matches their role. HR sees organisation-wide patterns, managers see their team (anonymised), employees see only their own data. A manager can therefore never retrieve individual employee data via Well-AI.
ChatGPT is a general language model that knows little about your organisation. Well-AI specialises in HR data, is trained on the JD-R model and has access to your specific organisational data within safe boundaries. Moreover, your data never leaves the EU, while ChatGPT conversations are routed to American servers by default.
